I am a Mathematician by education, having successfully completed a Masters from I.I.T. Kanpur. But my love for Math started very late. As a child, I hated it. In my 7th grade, I got 3 marks out of 100 in Mathematics and was summarily sent to boarding school by my parents to sort me out. It was only in college that I started appreciating the beauty of Mathematics due to its ability to convert purely abstract thought into something concrete.
